“You! But I’m your mother!”

His eyes were still on the Go board. His index and middle fingers pinched a black piece that he prepared to play.
The indifferent attitude of Jian Yubo made He Yan incredibly angry. She didn’t know what she was meant to do.
“Yubo, I want to ask why did you take all my assets and invest them into a movie that’s likely to lose money? Also, why did you cast Mo Shiyun as the female lead in this movie?”
“Because you think that she has potential,” Jian Yubo replied.
“You… I… When did I say that she had potential?”
“Well, you gave all those resources to her.”
“But… But that’s not the same thing! I told you to give her enough resources to help her become a celebrity! I didn’t say…”
“Well, if you don’t think she has potential, then why did you invest in her?” Jian Yubo replied. He spoke like an emotionless robot.
“That’s my business!” He Yan retorted. Her expression was incredibly ugly as she said this. “Anyway, you told me that you were going to help me get the Jian family’s fortune! You can’t just lose my money like this! You have to stop the production of this movie!”
“It’s too late,” Jian Yubo replied. His tone didn’t change as he said these three words.
Upon hearing these three words, He Yan felt her blood pressure go up. “Yubo! You’re trying to kill me with this move! With that vision, how are you still planning to compete with Jian Yuncheng in the first place?!”
